Dante Room

Incanto’s Dante Room is an intimate, elegant setting in which to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a delicious meal with friends and family. The room is able to accommodate groups of 11-20 persons, seating a maximum of 17 persons at one long table or up to 20 persons at two adjacent tables. The interior of the room is finished in warm colors with mahogany, antique brick and a hand-hammered iron chandelier. The complete text of Dante’s Divine Comedy, busts of Dante and Beatrice, and a Dante-themed mural adorn the walls.

We offer a fixed-price menu for large parties, starting at $59 per person, consisting of:

  • Mixed Boccalone antipasto platter, served family-style
  • Choice of appetizer (typically 2 choices)
  • Choice of entrée (typically 4-5 choices)
  • Choice of dessert (typically 2 choices)

As an option for Dante Room events we also offer a Whole Pig Dinner, which substitutes a whole-roasted suckling pig for the entrée course, brought to the room and carved tableside. The Whole Pig menu requires a suplement for the current market cost of the animal (typically $375) added to the bill. Please be advised that a pig is brought whole and carved tableside. .

We require at least three weeks’ notice to obtain a whole pig. Also, due to ranchers’ schedules, we are unable to offer Whole Pig dinners on Monday nights. The Dante Room can accommodate a maximum of 17 people for a Whole Pig dinner. It truly is a very memorable dining experience.

We also offer a $69 per-person menu for non-whole pig private dining options. This menu includes an additional appetizer-size pasta course for each person in between your salad and entrée courses. This is a great way for your group to try more of Incanto’s specialties. However, we do recommend that everyone arrives hungry!

Our daily-changing menu features seasonal ingredients. As such, we will not know the exact choices on your menu until the day of your event. Of course, if anyone has any dietary restrictions or food allergies, please let us know. Booking the Dante Room requires a minimum of $1,500 spent on food and beverages; a 20% service charge and San Francisco sales tax will then be added to the final bill.

To book a reservation and secure the room for your event, please telephone us to confirm the availability of your chosen date. Then, you will need to fill out and return our Private Dining Deposit Form. Once we have your deposit form, the room is booked for your event.
